We just went through a week or so of cold and windy weather here in North East Ohio, and I forgot to get a new moisturizer for my face. Now I have dry patches and I'm using a scrub daily to remove the dry skin.
Skincare is seasonal just like our wardrobe, so we need to change our skincare whenever the weather changes. Moisturizer is the key to soft and supple skin during the winter. Lack of a moisturizer during the winter will lead to dry cracking skin for me.
Since my skin is so dry now, it will best for me to use a moisturizing cleanser followed by a creamy moisturizer. Boy, that's going to feel so good afterwards. I love the way my skin feels after washing it and putting a thick creamy moisturizer on it especially during the winter months. I also use a thick moisturizer on my entire body during the winter to keep my skin from getting ashy and dry.
I can continue looking my very best by saving my delicate skin from dehydration during the harsh winter season. Since I'm concerned with preserving my skin's moisture, I need to look for a good moisturizer for the season.
I'm packing up my winter rescue kit now because winter is just starting here in Ohio.
Here are the winter skincare products I'm checking out:
